Beaumont Medical Center, Canton hosts 2nd annual ‘Family Safety Awareness Day’ Aug. 17

Beaumont Medical Center, Canton, located at 7300 N. Canton Center Road, is hosting its second annual “Family Safety Awareness Day” to educate the community about injury and accident prevention. The event will take place noon to 4 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 17.

Activities and demonstrations include ambulance and helicopter tours and a fire safety obstacle course. Be sure to complete the safety stations to receive a free bike helmet while supplies last – and be entered to win a bike. Meet interesting people from the fire and police departments, Gift of Life, K9 units, and LifeFlight of Michigan.

“We invite families to our medical center in Canton because we want to reinforce living safely to avoid injury. All are welcome to come to our free event, enjoy some great family fun and meet our community’s first responders,” said Adrienne Gall, a Beaumont Emergency Department technician who is coordinating this event.
