Medication take-back event April 21 at several Corewell Health campuses

April 18, 2023 - Corewell Health is partnering with local law enforcement to participate in National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Friday, April 21, at several locations – no questions asked.

People are encouraged to drop off unused or expired medications April 21 at Corewell Health’s Beaumont Hospitals, Dearborn, Royal Oak, Taylor, Trenton and Wayne, as well as the Sterling Heights Medical Park across from Corewell Health’s Beaumont Hospital, Troy. Drop-off hours at all locations are from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Staff at the take-back sites will accept prescribed and over-the-counter medications in pill form. The Dearborn, Taylor and the Sterling Heights Medical Park locations will also accept medical sharps, needles and empty syringes in puncture-proof containers.
