
GRAND RAPIDS and SOUTHFIELD, Mich., April 24, 2025 – Corewell Health™ announced today that it has named Chad Tuttle as its chief operating officer. Tuttle, who formerly served as senior vice president, clinical shared services, has been interim COO since December 2024.
“As interim COO, Chad has demonstrated a commitment to building productive partnerships across our organization,” said Tina Freese Decker, President & CEO, Corewell Health. “After conducting a national search and interviewing several external candidates, it was apparent Chad was the best fit for this critical role.”
As senior vice president of clinical shared services, Tuttle was responsible for the strategy, integration and performance of clinical departments across all regions of Corewell Health. He also has steered critical strategic initiatives, developed and maintained multiple joint ventures and fostered collaborative relationships with other health systems. Most recently, Tuttle focused on integration initiatives and implemented a shared operating model throughout Corewell Health.
Tuttle joined Corewell Health in 2014 and has served in a range of leadership positions during his time with the organization.
Tuttle earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration and master’s degree in business administration from Grand Valley State University. He also serves on several community and not-for-profit boards, including chair for Health Care Association of Michigan and the Legislative Policy Panel of Michigan Health & Hospital Association.
