GRAND RAPIDS and SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Dec. 9, 2025 – Six Corewell Health™ hospitals have been ranked as high performing for maternity care (uncomplicated pregnancy) by U.S. News & World Report. The following hospitals earned this designation:

• Corewell Health Butterworth/Blodgett Hospitals
• Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital
• Corewell Health Beaumont Grosse Pointe Hospital
• Corewell Health Farmington Hills Hospital
• Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital
• Corewell Health Pennock

High Performing, the highest designation a hospital can receive, recognizes excellence in maternity care as measured by factors such as severe unexpected newborn complication rates, birthing-friendly practices and transparency on racial/ethnic disparities, and others.

Corewell Health will deliver nearly 28,000 babies this year, amounting to one in every four born in Michigan.

U.S. News evaluated approximately 900 hospitals nationwide for the 2026 ratings, and just 147 hospitals – or 16% – have been designated as Maternity Care Access Hospitals. Hospitals were evaluated based on detailed data submitted to U.S. News via the annual Maternity Services Survey.
