ST. JOSEPH Mich., July 29, 2026 — Corewell Health™ has opened a new urgent care location at 3900 Hollywood Road in St. Joseph, giving Southwest Michigan communities another option for same-day care.   

Located at the Corewell Health Care Center – Royalton campus, the urgent care opened to patients on July 20 and marks Corewell Health’s first urgent care location in Southwest Michigan.  

“One thing we’ve heard consistently across Southwest Michigan is that communities want care that’s easier to access and closer to home,” said Natalie Baggio, president, Corewell Health in Southwest Michigan. “This new urgent care helps provide that option while connecting patients to additional services available on the same campus.”  

The facility offers capabilities beyond those typically available in a traditional walk-in clinic. Patients have access to imaging, laboratory and rehabilitation services located on the same campus, creating a more connected care experience and helping them access additional services when needed. 

The facility includes 48 exam rooms and two procedure rooms and is designed to support a wide range of same-day care needs. It is open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Walk-in appointments are welcome, and patients may also reserve a spot in line through Corewell Health’s On My Way online check-in feature. 

In addition to urgent care, the Royalton campus includes primary care, occupational medicine, a high-risk breast cancer clinic, ear nose and throat (ENT) services and foot and ankle specialty care. Additional specialty services, including weight loss and bariatric care, are planned for the future. 

“When people need care, they want it to be nearby and available when they need it,” Baggio said. “This new urgent care provides another option for patients and families while helping them connect to the right care, at the right time and in the right setting.” 

The opening is one of several recent investments Corewell Health has announced across Southwest Michigan, each designed to address local needs and improve access to care.
