Grand Rapids and Southfield, Mich., March 25, 2026 — — Corewell Health™ is pleased to announce that Kelli Sadler, MHA, BSN, RN, has been appointed its system chief nursing executive, a newly created role designed to advance nursing excellence and alignment across the organization’s care continuum.
Sadler previously served as chief nursing executive for Corewell Health in Southeast Michigan, a role she has held since January 2023. During that time, she led initiatives to strengthen clinical quality, accelerate nursing innovation, and enhance patient safety across the region.

In her new role, Sadler will work in close partnership with physician leadership and regional nursing leaders to align nursing priorities with systemwide clinical and regional strategies. Her leadership will support a cohesive approach to care delivery, clinical excellence, and workforce sustainability across Corewell Health.
With more than 30 years of nursing and national health care leadership experience, Sadler has also played a key role in strengthening collaborative partnerships with colleges and universities throughout Southeast Michigan, supporting nursing pipeline development while driving measurable improvements in quality, safety, and patient experience.
Sadler also serves in leadership and advisory roles with academic institutions, including Sigma Theta Tau International through Wayne State University and the University of Detroit Mercy College of Health Professionals, supporting nursing education and workforce development.
